I didn't find any part of getting a new home Austin hard until it came to the appliances and having them installed. I didn't have a builder who would do it for us and that was problematic. They said we had to do it on our own and I had never done it before.
Appliances are not easy to install except for the fridge. The fridge is fine because you just slide it into place and plug it in. The others are the real issue. The oven has to be placed and plugged which is great. It is the dishwasher that is absolutely impossible.
You have to cut the piping and connect it like that. How will anyone know what to do? it is not a simple plug and play situation. You have to look at the appliance and see how you are going to cut it to get good results. If you don't do it right, your dishwasher might not work well at all.
I hated this part and had to do it on my own. Other people called professionals, but that is so costly and I didn't want to just spend money on that. So that was an experience I hated. New homes can do that sometimes.
